Lake Roosevelt 61, Okanogan 46
Game 1.
At Okanogan, WA

Second-seeded Lake Roosevelt used a hot second quarter to take control against Okanogan, winning 61-46 in the opener. Undefeated Brewster topped the century mark for the first time this season, beating Liberty Bell 105-52.
Tourney play continues Saturday, with Brewster playing Lake Roosevelt for the district title at 7:30 p.m.
The winner also earns a top seed into the District 6/7 Regionals next week at Moses Lake, waiting until next Friday to play. The championship loser is automatically the second seed, a change from the original brackets. The second seed opens play Wednesday in an 8 p.m. loser-out game.
Meanwhile, Okanogan battles Liberty Bell at 6 Saturday for the third seed directly into regionals. This is a loser-out game, the winner playing at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The Raiders forged ahead with a 17-4 burst. Lake Roosevelt guard Levi Morris then scored 11 of his season-high 23 points in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs stayed close early, draining four 3-pointers, two by J.D. Wilson. Okanogan was hampered when Mike Roach picked up his third foul early in the second quarter.
“Our plan was to be more aggressive, trying to go inside,” Lake Roosevelt coach Brad Wilson said.
