| Summer Wrap Up: The Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors completed a very busy summer basketball program this year. Overall they competed in 41 varsity games, and 20 JV games. Stops included Lake Chelan Tournament, Highland Invitational, 24 hour Tournament, Warrior Shootout, Soap Lake Team Camp, and Central Washington Team Camp. The varsity finished with a record of 16-25, much improved over the past summer. |
| Coaches Take: I thought we had a very successful summer. We got a lot more kids into the gym then in previous years, although our summer was cut short due to injuries and vacations. I am proud of how our seniors have stepped into leadership roles, and how the sophomore class of last year progressed into effective varsity players. Our summer turnout was twice as big as the year before, and I think that is a sign that we are heading in the right direction and the younger players are excited about the future. If we can keep the commitment up and keep working hard this fall I feel we will put ourselves in a chance to be more competitive than we were last season. |
