"You're playing against seniors and juniors who have been in the weight room - and they are experienced - against freshmen that aren't (experienced) and are smaller," said Okanogan coach Denny Neely, who sports a dozen freshmen on his limited roster of about 22 healthy players.

"There was a mismatch all across the field and it showed," said the coach. Cashmere's dominance included reinserting starters late in the game after Okanogan had reached the (Cashmere) 30 yard-line.

"I don't think they wanted us to score," said Neely. "They put in the first unit and snuffed it (the drive) right out.

"What goes around comes around," said Neely. "I won't forget that. I told the kids to remember and learn."
